“ Best pizza I’ve ever had in Sarasota. I was in Naples Italy not long ago and I could have been eating there. So good! Crust was chewy but soft and the toppings were fabulous. My dining companion tends to prefer American pizza but he agreed his was very good. I also got the house salad and the lemon dressing tasted so fresh. Love the food here and definitely plan to return! ”
“ I have had a lot of pizza in Sarasota over the last 8 years living here and this place is by far the ABSOLUTE BEST pizza I think I have ever had anywhere!! I had the Abruzzese - which has no sauce because I cannot each tomato...this pizza had so much flavor - from the truffle oil, the sausage and the cheese- just perfection!!!! My husband had a mushroom pizza and just raved about it.This is a little place is unassuming in appearance but don’t let that fool you - they are the real Italian deal!! ”

The crust has that perfect balance—crispy on the outside, soft inside, and just the right touch of smoky char. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and high quality, from the rich tomato sauce to the creamy mozzarella. The Margherita was simple and perfect, and the Diavola brought the heat in all the right ways. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with great service to match. They are open late, I noticed a lot of places in this area close early. Eating here was a great experience! I highly recommend this restaurant. ”
“ Not your typical Sarasota pizza place. Great variety of wood fired pizzas. The margherita was the best I've had in Sarasota. The house salad was arugula with shaved Parmesan. Yummy. Small selection of wines and beers but we easily found two wines we enjoyed. The restaurant name must be meant to amuse as there is no real atmosphere to speak of. Located in a strip mall with several tables for four and seats facing the pizza oven. Reminds me of hole in the wall gems I've been to in NY, LA and Chicago. We got there at 5:30 on a Thursday and had no problem getting a seat. The meal was not rushed and we had a pleasant enjoyable meal. Will definitely go back. If beautiful decor and fawning service are important to you look elsewhere. If you're used to chain pizza this is nothing like that. ”
